The audience can vote for their favorite films only online, where all the festival films are available. That said, all films, including the non-premieres, can participate in the Audience Award competition. To participate to the competition, a film must be at least a NY Premiere. All films in the festival are in competition with a few exceptions.

Ticket and pass pricing TBA.īFF awards 30 winners with prizes totaling $50,000 in cash, film services, and products. Parental Guidance therefore is recommended. Festival films are unrated and consists of numerous animated shorts, documentaries, and live-action films. One tailored for kids from 3 to 7 and the other for the “older” crowd, 8 to 15 age group. All purchased online tickets and passes can be picked up at the venue starting one hour before the show.īFF will present the 18th annual KidsFilmFest on the same dates BFF’s films will be presented (June 3 – 12). We plan to show three programs a day on weekdays and four programs a day on weekends. The total number of 2-hour programs will be 32, including two KidsFilmFest programs. Additionally, we will present two extra programs under the KidsFilmFest programming umbrella. In terms of presentation, films are grouped into 30 two-hour programs. Films are submitted as and divided into six categories: Feature Narrative, Feature Documentary, Short Narrative, Short Doc, Experimental, and Animation. Even the smallest festival film can win the top festival award: The Grand Chameleon.īFF is an international competitive festival.
